The area’s most naturally intact beach runs for an 8,000-foot stretch on the north end
of Singer Island. But there’s more than beach to see here. The adventure begins at the
nature center, near the park’s entrance. You’ll find aquariums, wildlife exhibits, historical
documents, and an interpretive video. Outside, you walk around a butterfly garden
and picnic pavilions, then across a 1,600-foot boardwalk (tram service available) to a
nature trail that finally leads to the remote beach known for great snorkeling. Saturday
and summer programs teach families about the environment.
