" good but not great for kids"

Jacksonville landing is a good place to hangout evening times. The veiw of jacksonville downtown, lighted bridges are great. The St .Johns river walk  in front of jax downtown is good.Kids might njoy looking for some dolphins in the river, one might see them jumping if u r lucky.Usually there are lots of concerts happening.Check their website http://www.jacksonvillelanding.com/events to plan ur visit as per events. We love their thanksgiving fireworks,Christmas lighting concert and fireworks, annual boat show. They have lots of riverside restaurants to njoy with ur loved ones.

"Out of date"

The Jacksonville Landing used to be the place to be!  It is definitely the place to go when the University of Florida plays University of Georgia, but other than that, I would skip this.  It does have a nice boardwalk.  There are a lot of business people that eat here during the week because it is close to where they work.  As far as for children, I would pass.  Nothing exciting!  It used to be great when it first opened with an arcade and a fudge making statin.  St. Johns Town Center is a way better choice!

"Could be a great time"

I remember when the Landing first opened.  It was really cool, with lots of great stores and an arcade.  Now it is kind of sad.  Empty stores and a pathetic selection in the food court.  The arcade has been closed for years now.  The only saving grace is a good selection of full restaurants and a pretty good schedule of entertainment throughout the year.

"Fun with the Family"

Downtown Jacksonville is on the move. On the northern riverfront, Jacksonville Landing makes for a lively shopping, dining, and entertainment experience. Toy Factory (904-353-4874) is a really fun shop.
