I don't know that we'd have ever visited this place, but today was the 10th anniversary of geocaching, and the local Austin club held part of their festivities here.
A ghost town -- not a real one -- but real enough to be used as a back drop for movie sets and weddings and other special events. And apparently open to the public on the weekends.
Chloe, age 8, had a blast entering the saloon, jail, barn and more. The maze was a highlight for all of us, aged 8-73. Fun, fun, fun. But even in March -- too hot! So go only when it is below 80 degrees out (for Austin that's what? Nov-Feb ??)
Great outing, fun for all. It even looks like they have a great set up for nighttime movies.... I'd love to go back for that!
The food "on tap" was fair type food. If you want to eat healthy, eat before coming.
