This is one of the most popular parks in the state, a 1,200-acre panorama of cedarand oak woodlands, wildflowers, and pink granite. The park borders Inks Lake and offers 7 miles of beautiful hiking trails, camping, picnicking, swimming, canoeing, waterskiing, scuba diving, sailing, and fishing. There also are a nine-hole golf course,a playground, and a store for groceries and camping supplies. Deer, turkey, quail, and songbirds are abundant in the park. At dusk, it’s common to see small children feeing deer from their hands.
