"Definitely a favorite"
This ride is definitely a favorite of mine and my older kids. My 9 and 11 year olds loved it despite the scary parts of skulls, fire, snakes and rolling boulders. Just the music alone gets my heart pumping with excitement. My husband and I love teasing people on the ride that the reason it was such a crazy ride is because they looked into the Eye of Mara at the start after they were warned not to. Some of my nephews almost believed me.
The line down into the start of the ride is an adventure in itself and it is incredibly fun to test out the pulleys and decode the hidden sayings. Be sure you stow your personal items as my mother-in-law spent some tense moments during the ride trying to find her purse that was moving around!

"Deceiving line"
This is a very wonderful ride with a deceiving line! The line outside scared many people away, in fact what you see outside is the longest part of the wait. Disney has their logisitcs down and have the longest part of the wait outside under the trees. Once you get inside you have a walk through the ornate interior which is well decorated and in the spirit in Indy! Don't be scared by the line because it is well worth it!

"For the adventurer at heart"
Although I don't recommend this ride for small kids as it would certainly scare them if not shake their bodies too much, older kids and their parents will enjoy the adventure and thrill of this ride that immerses in you the world of Indy.
There are lots of skulls and scary components, so make sure your kids are ready for this level of ride before entering.
The ride is also very rough, so please use common sense if you are injured or easily made sick.
When the ride originally opened, they gave out decoders to figure out the hieroglyphics in the line. I had one then and the line went by in no time trying to decode everything.
