This has to be one of my favorite caves to tour. So many cool little thins and you can really get the feel of it all. We used to go as kids all the time and it was very memorable. I remember we used to "pan for gold", also a lot of fun for kids. We used to hit this cave up when we went to Hershey Park.
Your young geologists can take a forty-five-minute tour of Indian Echo Caverns and hear the story of William Wilson, a hermit who lived in the caverns for nineteen years. You can also pan for gemstones at Gem Mill Junction (Memorial Day to early October). The cavern is open year-round, but the food cart is open only during the summer season. Strollers not permitted in cave.
