In-N-Out burger is amazingly good! It's cheap, fast and delicious! I love how their menu is so simple and easy. They have all kinds of secret lingo that I am still learning. I love their fries too because they aren't covered in salt like every other burger joint.
When we were in California we had the opportunity to go to In-N-Out and we LOVED the food! When we were in St. George visiting family we were excited to see one and decided to go eat there for dinner. I'm not sure if they get their food from different vendors or what but it was not nearly as good as the one we went to in Newport Beach CA.
The best thing they have are their shakes. You can combine any of their flavors.
We love In-N-Out. The burgers are soooo good. They are very reasonably priced and they are fast. For just a good all around burger, you can't beat In-N-Out. I wish they would get one closer to where we live. I just found out that In-N-Out has a secret menu you can get online. It isn't shown when you order. You have to know the code words to ask for different items and they are actually right on the cash registers as available but you have to know that they are. I really felt like I have been missing out. For example, if you want grilled onions on your burger you ask for it animal style. You can get your french fries crispy by asking for extra crispy. You need to go to their online site and get the code words. It is really quite fun!
If you want great burgers, go to Kopp's or Omega's in Milwaukee, so I did not think In-N-Out was great at all. Yeah, they are burgers, but they are thin and have SO MUCH lettuce on them! The buns are good, though. Fries are skinny. JCW's in American Fork is much better with thick real fries. Ok, so it was also kind of expensive, and not worth the money to go here. Go to McDonald's. sorry
Fast, fast fast! In-N-Out is known for it's quick service. Even their drive-thru lane flows very smoothly and quickly. Their food is delicious as well! It is very fresh! Another plus is their reasonable prices. The only thing that may be a problem for some people is that they do not have a lot of variety. They only offer hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries and shakes. They do not offer anything with chicken. This is part of what makes them so fast. They also have great customer service. I have never had a bad experience at this location!
We eat here all the time and love it. Everything is always fresh. They make their own fries from real potatoes. The buns are toasted which is one of my favorite things. Kids will love it, much better than Wendy's or McDonald's. The only downfall is that they only serve hamburgers and our 2 year old doesn't like them. But if we take him he just eats the fries and is happy.
I think In-N-Out Burgers is a bit overrated. They are popular and they do hold up some kind of special status, but they are not as great as everyone claims. I do give them some credit however. I do think they are better than a lot of the other fast food places around. But if you want a really good burger and fries, go check out Five Guys burgers and fries just down the street. I think you'll find their food to be quite a bit better.
If you are in the St. George Area in need of something good to eat, this might be the place. Everything I have ate here has been very good! It is nice to know that more locations are coming to Utah soon so that it won't be so novel to eat there, but still just as good!
As a native Californian, and recent transplant, In-N-Out Burger is probably one of the places I miss the most in my new life. So to you Californians, this might not be much of an attraction, but to those of us far from home, this place gives us hope that one day In-N-Out may indeed come further east! Busy as always, and just as delicious, we ate here at least 4 times on our last 3 day trip to Utah! And all of you in CA who can eat at In-N-Out whenever you please, have a Double-double with grilled onions, a side of well done fries, and a neopolitan shake for me, please!
