"Great place for kids of all ages!"

The Houston Fire Museum is a great place to visit for kids of all ages.  They have the front a real fire engine that the children can sit in, act like they're driving the fire engine, and turn on the spinning lights.  They also have a lot of historical items to see such as old fireman equipment and clothing.  It is very interesting!

"Nice place..."

... For  a short visit. Go there if you already have a child who is interested in fire trucks, firemen and such. The museum is small but nicely done. It was not much fun for the "whole family" but nice way for a child who in interested in the theme to explore it further.

"Fun with the Family"

Your family can see the history of firefighting, from bucket brigades to horse-drawn pumpers to modern fire trucks, at the Houston Fire Museum, which is housed in a fomer fire station.
