"Action packed event!"

We went to the Houston Aeros game recently with our kiddos.  This was our first hockey game ever, and we had a blast!  The fans are great -- they even have cowbells, and shake them periodically!  Chilly is the team's mascot, and he walks around the arena for all to see.

"Aeros Hockey on a HOT Texas Day! "

While Hockey is not directly associated with south Texas, the Aeros definitely are! Last year, I attended my first Aeros Hockey game with my middle school students. They were performing the national anthem, as well as a Valentines Day song. I had SO much fun, not only watching my students perform, but watching the hockey game. The kids got so involved in the game and we so pleased to attend. The Toyota Center is a great venue and the Hockey games are definitely family friendly. Tickets are usually inexpensive. I recently saw a Groupon for Aeros Hockey tickets. Even if you've never seen a hockey game before, try it out. It was a great experience for me!

"Nice way to introduce kids to hockey here in Texas."

I love hockey and it's one of my favorite sports other than football and baseball. That's why I'm glad to live in Houston where I can take my nephews and kids to show them how great a sport hockey can be. Tickets are fairly reasonable and they play at the beautiful Toyota Center so it's worth the price. Last time I went with my nephews we sat on the glass and they had a blast banging on the glass when the opposing players would check into it. The littlest one was scared during one of the fights that night but I told him it was ok in hockey (just not for him to do it).

Chilly the mascot is great and will hang out with the kids for as long as he can. The cheerleader's are also nice and took pictures with the boys so they could show their friends at school their new "girlfriends" ha. Overall it's a great way to get kids in the southern states interested in a really great game.

"Awesome Sport, Awesome Team!"

Although a lot of people often overlook hockey teams, My family and I enjoy going to such sporting events. The atmosphere is always fun (and although sometimes the players do get into fights, I believe it just comes with the package :D ) The kids enjoy watching this sport. There is even a Kids's Club the kids are apart of.

"Fun with the Family"

Also quite popular locally, the Houston Aeros, a minor-league hockey team, play in the Toyota Center from October to April.202
