Homestead Ranch Regional Park

"Hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking!"

Homestead Ranch is a secluded park that has so many things to offer families in Peyton. We stumbled upon this park while looking for something on the East side of town that offered trees. This park is not crowded and has lots of amenities that will please the family! Several covered pavillions offer a shaded area to picnic with the family and the nearby playground is large and can accomodate a huge number of children without seeming crowded at all. In addition, to stretch the legs after the drive to the park, hike along the trail that includes trees and various bird watching opportunities. You can also bring the fishing poles to fish at a small pond or a soccer ball to play in the open field at the base of the park. Horse sightings can occur here as the trails are often used by them. There are restroom and water fountain facilities here, but no hand soap so plan accordingly.
