Main Street Car Show every Friday night at 4pm.
Main Street in Garden Grove has a great "old town" feel in a very short section. Many stores and cafes are available to choose from and enjoy with your family.
On our visit today, we started down the street, looking for the King of Rock and Roll and we found him... "singing" to us from the balcony of Azteca, a Mexican Restaurant. We were quite disappointed to find it was closed and we saw many other hopeful diners turned away at the door. We figure there must be delicious food and a fun atmosphere in there!
Next we found a window display full of old style glass bottles of soda. We hopped into the store (Zlaket's Market) and the friendly worker helped us find some delicious bottles of root beer. So many vintage and classic labels to choose from. Delicious!
We wandered through a few speciality stores filled with creative signs and wood works and a few with antiques and then sat down at a table in the sun. Many families were out, enjoying pancakes, or snacks at the tables and in the cafes. A fun outing!
