The Biltmore Village is very nice, lots of stores and restaurants to explore. The stores are mostly unique, some chain stuff, but mostly fun art stores that really showcase the art that's made in around Asheville. I have yet to dislike a restaurant we've been to, The Corner Kitchen being my absolute favorite. It's beautiful during the Christmas season, with lots of lights and decor.
Adjacent to the Biltmore Estate is Historic Biltmore Village, a group of restored homes that now contain shops, restaurants, and galleries. At these shops you’ll find handcrafted jewelry and pottery, blown glass, fine art, children’s books and games, collectible dolls, and more. In all you’ll find more than thirty shops and most likely something for everyone in the family.
Of particular interest for children are Biltmore Village Dolls & Gifts, Claying Around, Once Upon a Time, and William & Grace . . . A Children's Boutique. Also, Biltmore Village Historic Museum presents photographs, maps, and artifacts on the history of the village.
