Hillsdale Shopping Center

"With Burlingame Ave a few miles away..."

Why would you come here to shop?  

Hillsdale Mall is unpleasant at any time.  On rainy days, it is thronged with parents, toddlers, and surly teens.  On sunny days, it is dark and dreary.  The Macy's is positively ancient.  

There are no decent restaurants in the entire complex, save for maybe California Pizza Kitchen, if you are in the mood for chain restaurant pizza.  

Last week a man was shot and killed in the parking lot outside Nordstrom at 6 in the evening.  Not what I would call family friendly.
