Hideway Park also has a climbing wall, playground, free sledding hill in the winter, fire pits and an amphitheater. In the summer, Hideaway Park usually has live music and free movie nights. "Best playground in town!"
If you're visiting Winter Park for the weekend, the day, or longer, take a quick break at the newly designed Hideaway Park. You can't miss it as you drive, walk or bike through town on Highway 40. New playground equipment with a soft landing area is perfect for kids to explore. Also, don't miss the tube slides that go from the upper level of the park down to the sidewalk level over on the sidestreet side. Finally, if skateboarding is on your to-do list, check out the brand new attached skate park! Unless there is a major event going on, parking is pretty easy to find on the main road, side street or street on the back side of the park.
