If you love steam engines and trains then you will love this place.  I took my 6 year old son to this place and he loved it.  We rode several trains ranging in size from a narrow gauge to an eighth scale.  The trains covered about a mile and a half through the 155 acres that are part of this museum.  We saw old tractors, saw mill, power plant, etc.  There was plenty of food to purchase, a rest room and a gift shop.  Or you can bring your own food. NB - if a child has sensitive ears to loud noises then this may not be the place for them.  However, if you discover this after you are there then go to the gift shop to buy some ear plugs.
