The park has really nice Junior Ranger program for school age kids - ours are 8, 6, 4, and 1 year old.  The museum has restrooms, drinking fountains, a very small gift shop, and a movie about Herbert Hoover.  Outside the museum,  the NPS has recreated West Branch circa 1875 as well as a tall grass prairie.  The kids love roaming the "streets" of this town, looking at the old buildings, and watching a blacksmith work.  They also enjoy walking the trails through the tall grass prairie.
