The chapel is open daily throughout the year except for University holidays, and it hosts approximately 1,500 events annually.  Charles Z. Klauder of Philadelphia designed the building in a neo-Gothic style with a modified cruciform plan, stone vaults, high ceilings, repeated arches, and extensive use of glass.

Mass is celebrated at noon Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Services  
are also offered on Sunday, when the chapel is open 1:30 to 5:30 P.M.
