"Not fancy, but lots of fun"

This hands-on museum is in an old storefront in downtown Bemidji rather than being in a brand-new museum.  That makes it even more pleasant to see the excellent exhibits that are housed here.  Nothing's fancy, but it's all very hands-on, with great staff who like to work with kids.  It was hard for us to pull the kids away from the hot-air balloon and snakes and fish and shadow wall.  If you're in Northern Minnesota, you don't want to miss this hidden gem just down the street from Paul Bunyan.
