(above discription taken from the Havre de Grace Tourism website)
There are performances each day, some by the HdeG High School Alumni Band, and other performers, on a stage set up next to the play ground.
Havre de Grace's annual arts festival is usually the second weekend in August and I have found it to be very kid friendly. Because it takes place in Tydings Park it's easy to take frequent breaks at the play ground area if the kids (my son is 2 and daughter is 1) start to get antsy. Then when they've played themselves out a little, we get back to the stroller and I look around a little more. It makes for a nice ballance of "play time" for both of us.
