"Off the Beaten Path"

We found the Havana Hideout on Diners Drive-ins and Dives on Food Network. The show promised interesting cuban food, and that is exactly what we got. We tried their Pionono, which was like a spicy spanish lasagna with plantains instead of noodles. It was original and very tasty. We finished up with the Chocolate Chili Pepper Ice Cream which was, as you can guess, Chocolate Ice Cream with a small amount of chili pepper to give it a little kick! The kids loved the new flavor.
