I started taking my daughter to Gymboree when she was 3 months old and she liked the music and seeing other little faces. It was a really nice class & I recommend it. We continued to go until she started walking about 9 months. That's when I found the lack of padding on the play equipment inappropiate for my new walker or even crawler. My daughter is very adventurous so she wanted to crawl & climb on everything. The play equipment is wood and only a small potion of the floor is padded. So even a little miss step or small roll left her with a bump on the head. The floors are extremely hard. The play equipment has zero padding. I am a extremely cautious mother that never leaves my daughters side. As you know with new crawlers and walkers there are a lot of miss steps. I would have just liked a little more padding so I felt like she could go and have a little adventure without her mother being so on top of her. This is a very nice place for lots of children just not exactly right for me and my daughter. It's very clean and the owner and staff are very nice and friendly. I will try the music & art classes when she is a little older. Very clean friendly place. You can tell they love children.
I was a stay at home mom to one child and he looked so lonely, I knew he wanted a play date/mate but another child wasn't possible for me, also I didn't want to put him in "DAYCARE" for the inter reactions because I knew my son and he doesn't do anything with out me and I am ok with that. I am raising him attach parenting style. So what to do, I then found gymboree they give you one class free to try it out. So I did my son feel in love and has learned so much and is much happier now that he gets to see the same friends every week and the cost isn't that much at all. I really love it!!!
