Located just north of Cortez Road between 51st and 59th Street West, GT Bray Park offers visitors plenty to do.  Part of the Manatee County Parks and Recreation Department, the Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, baseball fields and newly opened Recreation and Fitness Center will keep any active family entertained.

"Plenty of outdoor activities"

If your family wants to experience a wonderful parks and recreation program, then visit this expansive park in western Manatee County.  We ran across the fields, had a blast exploring the playgrounds, swam in the kiddie pool and toured the new Fitness Center.  There are fees for some activities and programs but they are minimal.  Bring your sunscreen as there are not too many shady spots.
