The Greensboro Cultural Center, located at 200 North Davie Street, provides four levels of galleries, studios, classrooms, and rehearsal halls to stimulate the mind and excite the senses.
Festival Park, the two-block area surrounding the Center, is the hub of Greensboro's downtown cultural activities. The Price Bryan Performance Place provides a visually stimulating environment for a variety of outdoor festivals, concerts, and theatrical performances.
You’ll find Greensboro’s arts downtown at the Greensboro Cultural Center. The center features five galleries that include different types and themes in the visual arts.
The African American Atelier (336–333–6885) exhibits original artwork by local African American artists and provides educational programs to the community’s youth.
The Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art (336–333–7460) features changing exhibits and programs that include works in glass, ceramics, jewelry, and painting.
The Greensboro Artists’ League Gallery and Gift Shop (336–333–7485) includes a sales gallery as well as changing exhibits of the works of artists in the Triad area.
The Guilford Native American Art Gallery (336–273–6605) has contemporary Native American arts and crafts on display and for sale.
The Mattye Reed African American Heritage Center (336–334–7108) is a satellite center located on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University. This museum has a seemingly unending collection of cultural exhibits from more than thirty African nations, New Guinea, and Haiti.
