"Year round fun"
Green Lakes State Park is a fun place for a family visit in any season. In summer, Green Lakes has a great beach for kids of all ages, with plenty of picnics sites for family gatherings. For summer visitors, it's worth noting that Green Lakes is known for being home to lots of ticks, so bring your bug spray. If you visit in the winter, Green Lakes has great trails for cross country skiing or snow shoeing.
