"Fun with the Family"

Colonial Williamsburg’s newest interpretive site, this typical middle-sized rural colonial Virginia farm offers visitors a chance to see how ordinary folk lived, with slaves and their masters working side by side. A new slave house and tobacco barn opened in 2005. Children will learn how to plant crops, turn soil, split wood, and cook over a fire—and never complain about loading the dishwasher again.
