While waiting for your tour of Independence Hall, take a look at this moving display of historic documents that played pivotal roles in our nation’s history. Here you can see surviving copies of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitution.
If you look closely, you can see handwritten notes in the margins, reminding us of the debates that shaped the final drafts. Here you can also see the Syng inkstand, which was probably used by signers of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
