The Golden History Center is a small, eclectic museum with a varied group of artifacts from the history of Golden, CO including many antique instruments, furniture, the Coors porcelain collection, mining equipment, dental tools, School of Mines uniforms and more... There's definitely some interesting stories hidden in these walls! Our young girls were a little bored, but the center is small enough that they tolerated the trip well. A shout out to Cafe 13, a small outdoor eatery at the back of the Center -- decent food and a gorgeous view of Clear Creek from the tables!
