"Love, love, love"

We took my son here last Fall for Halloween. He loved it. They had a lot of stuff for a 2 year old to explore. Lots of trucks to climb on (wooden ones that they can sit in) a baby corn maze, along with an adult thats wide enough you can push a stroller through. A quiet little retaurant type snack area that you could get fresh made apple doughnuts at. Also, the way they have the pumpkins laying on the grass made for amazing fall pictures of my son.

"Fall fun"

Goebbert's is the best pumpkin farm during fall. I started going there when I was a little girl and now so much fun to take my kids there too. We go every October to pick out our pumpkins. There is tons for kids to do: hay rides, petting zoo, horse ride, corn maze, plus other kids stuff to jump on and play on. Can't leave without some sweet corn, popcorn, apple donuts and fresh apple pie.

"Love the roasted corn and apple cider donuts!"

A great family outing, although it can be busy.  Go for the roasted corn!  It is so delicious!

Be prepared for big crowds and find a spot to hunker down to enjoy the some yummy treats.  Apple cider, apple cider donuts and roasted corn are our faves!

Usually, traffic direction in and out is good.  Car traffic can be heavy.

Great afternoon outing!  Don't forget to check out the huge pumpkins on display.

"Fun for the Fall"

We've gone here for a few years now.  They have a ton of kids activities and yummy doughnuts and hot cider.  You'll be able to snap some great pumpkin pictures of the kids too but we have opted to buy our pumpkins elsewhere to save a little $$.  It can get busy so go early.

"Nothing else compares...."

I have been to numerous pumpkin farms, both in IL and elsewhere, and have yet to find one that comes CLOSE to offering HALF of what Goebbert's offers.  There is so much to do, you may find yourself bringing the kids back a second day so you can do it all!  Pick your own pumpkins (you can NEVER leave with just one) - animal rides (ponies or camels) - haunted trails - wagon rides..... and they also have a general store where you can purchase other items you may want or need.  They have an enclosed seating area where you can sit to eat - you can bring your own food, or they have a cafeteria where you can purchase lunch or dinner.  Lots of photo ops at Goebbert's, and often they will bring in local celebrities to promote themselves and bring in money for charity.

"I'd give more stars if I could!"

Best Pumpkin Farm I have ever been at.  Great snacks and pumpkins, camel rides, hay rides, and the petting zoo is amazing!  Picture opportunities everywhere.  Every time we go we have the most fun.   I will never forget the time a giraffe reached out his emormous tongue and took a ice cream cone full of food out of my hand.  Bring the hand sanitizer.

"Decent fall pumpkin patch"

We went to this one with some friends of ours when we both just had one child each. So it was very enjoyable and manageable for everyone. There were pumpkins in big piles that you could pick from or you could hop on a tractor and get taken to the patch to pick one of your own. There were a few carnival rides for a price. A petting zoo where the kids could feed the animals. And of course, my husband's favorite, fresh homemade corndogs. Free parking, too.
