This annual Halloween scare event is held at dusk in Oak Meadow Park. Goblyn's Glen in an interactive entertainment experience designed for specifically for children under 12.  Kids trick-or-treat through the spooky streets for Goblyn's Glen encountering it's strange inhabitants.  Actors dressed in costume and in character greet children in sinister alleyways, haunted homes, grave yards, and even on a pirate's ship. You will hardly recognize Oak Meadow Park.  Many evenings, the Billy Jones railroad and the carousel also run late.  The weekend before Halloween, there is one night where Goblyn's Glen holds a banquet that you are invited to attend.  Tickets Available at the door and online.
After 8:30pm, Goblyn's Glen turns into frightful Shadow Hills.  New scares are known to be quite intense.  Not recommended for young children under 12 or the faint of heart.

"Just the right amount of Spook for young kids"

As as we entered Oak Meadow Park and headed towards Goblyn's Glen at dusk, I could feel my heart starting to race.  The dim lighting and large shadowy trees of the park provide the setting for a haunted house experience. Goblyn's Glen is so so unique because it feels homespun, yet the quality of the set design and the costuming of the various characters was excellent!  I can't believe this event is put on 100% by volunteers.  The music and lighting were just enough to set the kind of festive sinister atmosphere you might expect to see at a Disneyland Halloween.  The lines were kinda long because they only allow a few people into Goblyn's Glen at a time.  The wait was worth it because the lonesome walk through Gobyn's Glen made it that much more creepy and allowed us to interact intimately with the eerie folk of Goblyn's Glen.  The set design and lighting was well done and convincing.  The costumes and make-up of the various characters was superb.  I can only imagine how scared my eight year old would have been if the actors did not behave as kindly as they did.  If your child is particularly sensitive to anything sinister, you might want to avoid Goblyn's Glen, but for most young kids, the experience was lots of fun.  After a visit to the Glen, hop on the Billy Jones Railroad or the Carousel to soak in more festive cheer.

Disclosure:  My tickets to Goblyn's Glen were complimentary, but my opinions are entirely my own.
