Steven Spielberg was the mastermind behind this gamer’s paradise. With a batch of one-of-a-kind games designed by DreamWorks SKG, Sega Enterprises, and Universal Studios to thrill the most savvy of game players, families can find just about everything here. The exclusive Drive Power Sled, one of only three in the world, lets kids feel what it is like in a bobsled as it powers down a run. Wild River is a simulated white-water rafting experience. Most locals feel this is the best arcade in town, with restaurants, bars (adults only, of course), and video game attractions grouped in several themed zones. There are plenty of old-fashioned video games, like PacMan and pinball machines, as well as specially designed games for younger folk so that little ones also have a lot to choose from. "Fun and Games!"

You can actually get some good Nachos in the cafe here too!  They have a lot of Video Game type games, this is fun for kids but honestly better for "big kids". My husband enjoyed it more than my kids.

That being said, Vegas isn't really the place for kids at all. So this place is a plus if you have to bring your kids.

"One of the few places for kids here."

When we went to Vegas my sister brought her nephews along and one night I was in charge of entertaining them. Since most places in Vegas only allow adults I was pretty lost as to where I could take the kids other than the arcades in the hotels. Luckily I saw an ad for Gameworks so we headed there and we had a pretty good time. The games aren't super expensive but they aren't cheap and it's your traditional arcade style games just in a bigger scale. We ate there at the little cafe and it wasn't bad food but the prices were kind of high for what you got.

I guess this place knows it's one of the only spots for kids so it makes a killing off it. I'd suggest this place if you need to kill time with some kids but if you don't bring the kids then you can skip it.

"We love game works"

We love game works in our family. My husband is a huge game lover. When I was pregnant we went to Vegas and wanted to do something that didnt involve drinking, gambling or smoking so we went to game works. They have a great little cafe with some great food and you can buy a game card and play and come back later
Its a nice play to let the kids work out some energy. Tons of games of every kind so everyone will be happy.
