GameStop is the go-to place to buy video games in Redding. They have a great selection of both new and used titles which helps those on a budget. There are games for every system, though games for the older systems are more difficult to come by (not all stores will carry older system's games). The staff is usually pretty helpful in finding a game you want or helping you find something that may tickle your fancy. They always make sure you know the rating of a game before you buy it (games have ratings just like movies do, E for Everyone, M for Mature like PG and R ratings) and they have a great rewards program. The Power Up card earns you points for games purchased or traded in (you can trade in old games for store credit or cold, hard cash!) and you can use the points to purchase games and accessories. Pretty cool store, though not the most kid friendly as they seem to cater to the older gamer, like 16 and up.
