When there was a warm weekend without anything to do in college we'd head here. There is so much to do for kids of all ages. The bumper boats, arcade games and miniature golf provide hours of fun. They also have a food area with convienence food such as pizza, soda and snacks. Their games provide tickets which can be redeemed for prizes. This is a nice, clean alternative to Chuckie Cheese. I can't wait until this coming summer since my daughter will finally be old enough for the miniature golf.
We have been to Fun Central both on our own and a part of a classmate's birthday party. My kids enjoy the virtual roller coaster. My little ones love playing games to earn tickets. The only problem is that they won't let you add money to the ticket total to buy a larger prize. Instead we wound up saving our tickets for a return trip. Bring a bathing suit or a change of clothes if you go on the Bumper Boats--especially if you have kids that hate to be wet! When the kids were really little and home with a babysitter, my husband and I went there it and felt like we were kids again.
Complete with 18 hole mini golf, bumper boats, batting cages and an arcade, there is something for everyone at Fun central. If you catch a good promo, the cost is not that bad - can be extremely crowded/hectic during weekends and b-day parties, but have always had a pleasant expereience here!
Rain or shine, this popular family amusement park offers activities from batting cages and bumper boats to arcade games, miniature golf, and a virtual-reality indoor roller coaster.
