"Nice to visit once a year."
The Fresno Fair is a big deal for most people who live in Fresno. Children start getting excited weeks before it gets here. It's a great place to visit for people of all ages. The children love the games and the rides and the adults like the food and the displays.
The displays are the same every year but it's still something to do so I usually go once a year. I'm not a huge fan of the food but most people I talk to can't get enough of it. I have to admit that their chocolate dipped cones are pretty good though.
I find that to get in is pretty inexpensive but everything else is going to cost you an arm and a leg, especially, if you plan on riding the rides. The lines for the rides are crazy long so I usually pick only one or two to ride and spend the rest of the day hanging out doing other things.
My favorite part of the fair is the animals. Adults and children are always amazed when they see all the animals up close. Me and my family are animal lovers so we usually spend a fair amount of time in this area. We really LOVE the pig races!
I never buy any of the products for sale because I find them to be over priced and low quality. Also, it can get very hot so be sure to wear sunscreen, hat, and bring lots of water! Plan on spending a fair bit of money on food, games, and rides.

Great fair!!! I love all of the great music artists that come each year! The price to get in is reasonable, but the price for things inside can get a little costly. Great performances, horse races, and exhibits! You and your family may even get lucky and be able to see a baby animal born in the barn! Awesome!
