SNUBA tours for kids to Molokini Crater are offered. No, that’s not a typographical error. SNUBA is a new sport that lets you explore the underwater world without becoming a full-fledged certified scuba diver. In SNUBA the tank is strapped to a small inflatable raft that floats on the surface above the diver. As the diver swims around, the raft follows. SNUBA divers breathe compressed air through a regulator, and the views awaiting them are much more detailed, colorful, and expansive than the views afforded to snorkelers. Kids must be at least eight years old. The trip itself costs $84 for adults, $49 for kids three through twelve; the SNUBA activity is an additional $49, regardless of age. The ride includes a full continental breakfast, an open bar for the adults, and a barbecue lunch.
