"Excellent Find!"

This was a truly excellent day at the fort.  What a neat place to experience history at its best.  Guides are in period dress, and even shot a musket off while we were there.  We had a family of 5 of us get admission for under $15, and the pass was good for the rest of the week.

"Well worth a trip!"

Fort Pulaski was well worth the stop.  $3 for adults, kids 15 and under are free.  We toured the fort alone, but you can walk with a guide who we trailed for a bit.  Wonderful stories about how the fort was made, and the  surrendering.  Got to see an actual musket fired as well.  Bring a water bottle, but my kids loved it.  Was neat to see where the cannonballs hit the fort.
