"sand dunes country"

We went here because we're heading towards amelia island. I checked the map and it looks interesting with Fort George inlet, so we decided to go there. Passed the Kinsley Plantation, then we saw the entrance on the right. ooh!! Fort George State park. Entrance is 3.00 per car, and the park closed at 6PM that day. This is still considered winter time going towards spring, we went there in late February. I forget but I'm sure summer hour is different. There are places to camp along the beach. The whole park is beach!! it is so awesome and when I imagine what summer will be, I bet it will not be packed like any other beach. There are bugalows with BBQ spots. Really nice for picnic by the beach, and even when we go there in late winter, foggy and little windy, it is still beautiful. My 10 months old was having fun with the birds. White sandy dunes all around us. If you want to go further down, make sure your car is offroad car or at least a four wheel drive. I can't really imagine being stuck here. It will spoil a fun day at the nice beach. See you at summer Fort George!!!
