"A long walk"

You can walk and walk and walk in this park!  There is a dunk pond we always park by and take pictures at.  The play ground is great.  The zoo is excellent, the animals are well taken care of.  There is much to do and many, many places to get good pictures.  It's amazing how you can be in one place so separate from the city and go to the top of the hill and see the highway!  It's a beautiful escape from the city.  In the summer bring your swimsuit there is a small water park with fountains for the kids to run through.

"Fun with the Family"

Forest Park is a large city park with a small zoo, nature trails, picnic spots, swimming pools, and other recreational activities. During the December holidays the park has several drive-through lighting displays with various themes, such as the North Pole and Barney’s Victorian Village (admission is $10 per car).
