The Foley Railroad Museum is a quaint little attraction that will delight kids and adults alike. There are many working model trains set up inside (in the cool A/C very important in the hot Southern summer!) and there are a number of "conductors" on site to answer any questions and show how all the trains work. There is a larger ride-on train located right outside that travels on a paved sidewalk around the entire park. This is well worth a visit. My kids want to go often. And best of all....it's all FREE
The Foley Train Museum is a very educational and entertaining spot for the family. If you have a train lover (think Thomas the Tank Engine all the way up to Grampa's model train set) you should make a trip to this FREE exhibit. Parking is very easy and minimal walking is involved (ramps are available as well). Take a picnic lunch or enjoy a walk on Foley's gorgeous Rose Trail, located around the museum to make a day of it.
