"Fun Fieldtrip"

My daughter went here for her school field trip and had an amazing time.  She could not stop talking about all the fun she had and about wanting to go back.  For a school field trip it was obviously cheaper, BUT she also got tickets to go back the following weekend and we went as a family.  I would highly suggest this as a fun fall weekend activity

"Enjoying the 17th Century"

This is an awesome festival for all ages. It is held at the Tippecanoe River Battlegrounds in Lafayette, Indiana every year.
There are so many volunteers and people from all over that reenact to keep the 17th century alive. It is a great opportunity to see how the Indians & the British lived and survived in the early settling years.
Really a neat experience and the food and crafts are just wonderful. Let the kids sample some of the old fashioned breads and meats to sweets at this neat event that happens around the middle of October.
