Family Kingdom Amusement Park they had some stuff for adults kids and teens they had a huge roller coaster the kids are way to young for that they did have little bumper boats for the kids and Tilt A Whirl. would not recommend letting the little ones on the yo yo ride or the sling shot those rides seem to be for teenagers , it was fun might go back
This place is good enough but very few rides compared to other fun parks we have been too. Also when we had been there was lot of issues with parking, no parking was available...and we kept going round and round in those crowded streets. My kids felt there weren't enough rides for their ages and in all they kind of lost all the excitement. So overall dint turn out to be that great!
This park was pretty fun, nothing compared to the Pavilion that used to be in Myrtle Beach, but definitely a decent substitute. Rides for all ages, including games which prizes can be won, as well as fun for adults. I would go back each year, hoping there are new rides, but would not go twice in the same vacation.
I've been here a couple of times while visiting myrtle beach and I have to say that they are overpriced and old and crappy. The rides are OK, the go carts don't go very fast at all. This place would be ok for little kids but I wouldn't recommend this place to adults of to teenagers, its a waste of money.
My 2 year old had a blast! There were numerous rides for him to ride. He, of course, loved them all. I especially liked that there were "miniature" rides. (e.g. a toddler sized ferris wheel, toddler size bumper cars, etc.) All the signs were clearly marked as to height requirements. There was never any waiting in line either - we went in early June. Our only regret was we bought my son, my husband, and myself all wristbands. We used a $3 off coupon for each person - our total was >$60. We should have just purchased my son a wristband. For some reason I thought there would be more family rides. I went on 3 rides with my son (bumper cars, train ride, and merrygoround and my husband went on 2 rides with him (old time cars and tiltawhirl). We should have bought tickets for the occasional rides we rode with him. Oh Well... that really was our own fault as we could have walked around first and realized there was no need for us to have a band. I would defiantly go back as my son had a blast and we had a great time watching him smile.
This amusement park is geared toward younger kids. We took our daughter who is 11 months at the time since it is free to walk around and they had rides for us to get on with her. She had a blast! You buy tickets per ride-most require at least 3 tickets or buy a wrist band for the day. The food reminds me of being a the local fair..yummy
My family loves going to The Family Kingdom - it's definitely a family tradition at our house. Fun for the whole family! Old fashioned rides, including hysterically fun wooden roller coasters. Tons of rides for the little ones to enjoy as well. Admission is free - you pay by tickets (old school) to ride the rides. An all day wrist band runs you just over $20 a person. Great deal!!! Check this out next time you head to the beach!
