Family Entertainment Center at The Breakers Palm Beach

If you are looking for one more reason to choose The Breakers Palm Beach for your family vacation, then this super kid-friendly multiplex will have you calling The Breakers reservation desk today!  The Family Entertainment Center has so much to offer that you and your kids will never want to leave!  Located near The Italian Restaurant, this playspace goes above and beyond to entertain and engage kids of all ages.  

Even before we arrived at the Family Entertainment Center, our preschooler played for ages on the padded playground climbing area.  There are lots of places for parents to sit if you get tired watching your little ones explore the mini rock walls, towers, rope courses and slides.  Eventually, you can lure them to the outdoor sports court to play some basketball.  There are staff members available to offer balls and other play things.

Once inside the center, our kiddo explored the toddler playroom.  This supervised room for the younger kids looks like a forest fairyland complete with age appropriate book nooks, dress up clothes, friendly staff who help the kids as needed and often can be found reading to a group of attentive three and four year olds.  The creative decor really helps fuel pretend play!  

Across the hall, there's a huge fishtank with fish native to Florida swimming near the arts and crafts tables.  In this room, it's hard to tell where the fish tank ends and the room begins as the ceilings and walls are decorated with all sorts of colorful 3-D artwork.  Craft supplies are plentiful and our preschooler had a blast creating a variety of sea life creatures for her own take-home fish tank.

If your kiddos prefer to play video games, there's a fantastic collection of Wii, Playstation and Xbox games set up nearby.  We saw boys sharing tips on how to win and advance to new levels while taking turns at the controllers.  

Adjacent to the video game room is the Childrens Movie Theatre complete with theatre seats, surround sound and a wide screen TV which shows a variety of family-friendly movies and programs.  Fortunately, these rooms are designed so parents can keep an eye on their kids but the sounds of video games and movies cannot be heard from room to room...it's fabulous!  

Down the hall next to the Coconut Crew Interactive Camp site, there's a big Arcade with air hockey, my favorite skee ball and other classic arcade and G-rated video games.  Some of these games require tokens so be prepared.  On Saturday night, we had a blast at The Breakers Fun Zone--with unlimited tokens and music it felt like a party!
