"Beaches at their finest"

If your looking for a vacation destination that has wild amusement rides this is not the place for you. Emerald Isle beaches are more laid back. Take in a day of shopping at one of the many beach shops, enjoy a round or two of miniature golf or just head to the beautiful beaches and soak up the sun.

"OMG The most fabulous beach ever!!"

We stay in Emerald Isle every year! They have the best beaches and everything is pretty much private. Not only is the whole experience enjoyable but it is also affordable. The water is crystal clear, hence the name The Crystal Coast! And it is really a family friendly environment! You don't have to worry about being disturbed as there are not night clubs and other attractions like that around!

"My favorite North Carolina beach"

Though we've only visited Emerald Isle once, it is my favorite North Carolina beach.  We stayed in a beautiful beach-front home.  The homes are lovely and the beach wasn't crowded, even in July!  My children loved the beach and our fellow beach goers were friendly and pleasant.  This is in stark contrast to some of the other local beaches (Myrtle and North Myrtle, in particular)!.  Great beach for families!

Update: We've now visited twice! Most recently a daytrip on Easter. Still not crowded (even though a holiday weekend), still clean, still fabulous. It was $10 to park, but worth every penny!

"Great Family Beach"

I grew up going to Emerald Isle and it is one of my favorite places on the NC coast. It's not over crowded like some vacations spots. The beaches are clean. And there are most of the amenities you need right there on the island. There are a lot of homes you can rent on the beach or sound side. It's a great place for a quite family vacation.
