Effie Yeaw Nature Center

Seasonal Nature Camps being held this November and December at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center will awaken your child's curiosity about the natural world. They will provide experiences which lead to an understanding of and appreciation for the American River Parkway and its connection to our greater world ecosystem.

Opening hours November through January - Open Wednesday through Sunday:  Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
but open on public holidays except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.  
Hours of operation could change, especially in stormy weather.  Call to confirm hours of operation for the day 489-4918.
Because we are a protected nature study preserve, there are NO DOGS, NO HORSES,  NO BICYCLES, and NO SMOKING allowed on Nature Area trails.
