Not much sets Edgewood County Park apart save for the blizzards of poison oak. Bringing your kids here is a good way to tell them about staying on the straight and narrow path of life. Wander afield, and your backside will light up like a day-glo necklace.
A single trails leads up from the parking lot, between clumps of poison oak, through a grassy meadow, and back down to the parking lot. Very boring. We come here often simply because it is smack in the middle of Redwood City. There is no confusing this park with wilderness- the highway is a dull background noise from nearly every spot.
