"Old, smokey hotel, great rates"
If you are looking for cheap rates in Laughlin, this hotel has it. You can often get rooms for as cheap as $10 or $20 with special promos offering food/beverages & even movies (at an off-site theater).
The hotel, however, is OLD. The furnishings, decor, carpets, walls, elevators & all look like they haven't been changed in about 30 years!! It is incredibly smokey, and you might feel like you are losing a lung just walking through. Even our "non-smoking" room held on to lingering smoke smells from another distant time; if you have asthma or allergies, I would recommend another spot.
The pool is very straightforward and no frills. There are quite a few on site restaurants that make dining quick, fairly cheap & easy.

"Older Hotel but great views"
The views from the front of the main tower are amazing, looking out over the river and off to the mountains is really great. That however is about the only thing the Edgewater has going for it. This hotel and casino is old, really old. You can walk into this hotel and really feel like you have gone back in time 40 years. With some TLC it could be a really nice place.but right now, as long as the price for rooms is cheap and you don;t mind old, it is clean.
