Public park with splash pad, play structure, walking path, lake, and event pavilion. Will be a mile-and-a-half long at completion
I took my 2 and 4-year-old boys here to cool off after a hike. The splash pad is under a shade cover and surrounded by benches for parents to sit in. The splash pad is simple, just jets of water that shoot from the ground, but still great for little ones. The park landscaping is very well done. It will be wonderful once the trees grow up. The playground is really unique. They call it the Orange Monster. The climbing structure is made of ropes. It was too hard for my kids to do but older kids there were loving it. There are smaller slides that were easy to get to and swings, but both were fully in the sun for now. There isn't any parking close to the playground which is good because kids aren't running into the street. I think this park has great potential and I'm excited to see the finished product.
