One of the older and more well preserved historic sites in Boggs Township is Curtin Village and the Eagle Iron Works.  The site once consisted of over 60 structures including the Ironmaster's Mansion, a charcoal-fired iron furnace, rolling mill, a forge, and a worker's village.

Heading north on Route 150 from Bellefonte, stop off at Eagle Iron Works and CurtinVillage, a historic site that gives a glimpse of life in the 1800s. Or take an excursion on the Bellefonte Historic Railroad to Curtin. There’s a restored iron furnace, the iron master’s mansion, and a worker’s log cabin. Throughout the year the museum holds special events, including craft shows, Civil War encampments, and antique tool demonstrations.
