The train museum is awesome! They have many large actual real life trains inside that you can climb in, explore, pretend to drive, etc. They also have several toy train set ups that the kids love to watch and get so excited when it comes around the bend back to their side. In addition, they have two train tables set up so the kids can actually play with the trains. All in all, it's a little boy's dream! Try to go for one of their special events, like their Pumpkin Train! You get to ride on a train out to a set up pumpkin patch, take pictures, pick out a pumpkin and then ride back. It's not very expensive, considering you get to go to the museum as well and will be the highlight of your fall!
At the Depot, you can board real engines and train cars, watch a small model railroad setup, or let the kids play on toy train tables. Information about local railroad history is displayed around the trains. Admission to the Depot includes the children's museum and a history exhibit in the building as well.
