Tennessee's number one attraction featuring 130 acres of incredible rides, spectacular shows, heritage crafts and fun for the whole family.
A great combination of shows and rides. If you are close, a season pass is the best deal You can also arrive after three and next day is included Rides for all ages. Shows included in price. Lots of food options. Shuttle service from car to park.
If your looking for a truely family friendly amusement parrk this is it! There are alot of shows including one where leaves and water come out at you. (Kids will enjoy) Many rides and lots of fun. It's not very cheap though, you will have to pay to park also so keep that in mind. If your going to go more than once then invest in a season pass for sure! =-) Have a GREAT time at Dollywood!
Some of the aspects of the park are a little outdated but it was worth the price for the ticket. We enjoyed the rides and carnival area. The shows were great and I can see a majority of them having record labels in the future. There really was a lot of talent there. We enjoyed the day!
Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country are our summer time favorite! Dollywood has some really great rides, some scary and some for the little ones! If you go during the summer, there will be some that will get you wet and cool you off. Our favorite...the log ride! Our little boy can't wait to get there! There are lots of great concerts and shows. My little boy loved seeing the bald eagle exibit!! They open in early spring and stay open thru December!
I am a mother of two children and have been coming here since I was a child myself back years ago it was called silver dollar city then Dolly Parton came along and bought it and changed it for the better. They offer rides for all age groups , the young and old alike I really love seeing them make glass and candles The food is reasonably priced and the lines are not too long they try and space the people out so that your not running into each other I love Dollywood.
Loved Dollywood. If you can catch a concert, you will be allowed in two hours early and are allowed to go through the park. It's like a two for one. The rides are pretty thrilling, not Cedar Point, but hey, what do you want. The History and atmosphere are enchanting. There are attractions for all ages. A little over priced, but since most of the Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area is a bargain you can splurge. I recommend seeing the bird show. I never thought that I would say that, but I loved it and it's geared towards all ages. All the little kids were thrilled to learn about the birds and to be able to see them up close and personal. Most of the attractions are going to center around ages 7 and up based on height. The Tennessee Tornado is a great roller coaster. It is a high speed thrill. I would recommend going in the summer and then again in the winter for the Smoky Mountain Christmas - which is what we will be doing this year. I will review that in the future for you!
We went to Dollywood when I was pregnant so I did not get to ride very many rides. I enjoyed watching the shows! My kids favorite was watching the show about Clifford the Big Red Dog. I loved the scenery in this park. It was filled with so many trees which made the weather bearable in the middle of the summer. I definitely want to go back and enjoy it while not be pregnant!
Dollywood is awesome there is no side stepping that! There are many shows to see, tons of rides to ride (Blazing Fury and Dardevil Falls are two of the best!), awesome food, and wonderful crafts. Definitely stop by the "county fair" section and be sure to try one of the to die for milk shakes! The kids will enjoy it just as much as the parents. Your general admission takes care of all the rides. We have been going to Dollywood for as long as can remember and it is a tradition that I will carry on with my children one which I hope they carry on to theirs! We have made tons of great memories and look forward to many more!
Our family tries to go to dollywood at least once a yr and it is fabulous everytime we go. But I must say it is a little pricey, so going with the seasonal passes is best.but they are very family oiriented and have all sorts of activities for kids and families to do together besides just the rides.
I have been to Dollywood twice, once before my daughter was born and once when she was 3 months old. The first time we got season passes so we went a second time to make sure we got our monies worth. It's a little pricey but there is lots to do! My husband enjoyed the rides and I enjoyed the shops! There are plenty of places to eat and shows to see. I was concerned about taking my young daughter to the park and having an adequate feeding/changing area but they have a wonderful nursing/changing room! They provide trams to transport you to and from your car or you can walk; however, if you start to walk you must finish because the trams will not stop to pick anyone up. And it's a good mile walk so think ahead in the heat or cold! On our most recent trip (2010) they had a new zipline and Adventure Mountain that even teenagers and adults would enjoy! We usually go around Thanksgiving and by that time it gets rather cold in the mountains so if you want to take advantage of the rides plan your trip accordingly. I can't wait to go back!
This is a great family friendly theme park. Clean, country fun! Lots of music, rides, and SHOPPING! The outlets there are great! Decorations at Christmas make the entire park that much more fun! Great park, great staff, and great shows! Lots for the kids to do!
Dollywood is a charming country theme park! Founded by Dolly Parton, this beautiful park is fun for all ages! Enjoy rides and shows, learn about how Dolly grew up, (her entire family living out of a one bedroom shack!), amazing "home cookin"! So much fun weather your a fan or not! Enjoyable for all ages!
We really enjoyed Dollywood. The cost of upgrading your day pass to an unlimited season pass is a great deal. We did that and came back at Christmas for free. The rides are fun. There's lots of stuff for kids- a good sized section of rides for younger ones. The shows are fun.
This is another great place in the Smokey Mtns to go! We go every year! They have all kinds of family fun for all ages! They have craft fairs and different festivals for adults of all ages. They have many different parts of the park for all ages of kids too! They have rides, rollercosters, and shows!
We have visited Dollywood twice with our young daughters and have been overjoyed both times. It is a large park, but it is very clean and tasteful. There are none of the things that you would have to worry about being appropriate for your children to see. Tickets can be a little pricey, so check for specials and sign up for their email list for more discounts. Definitely worth the money and time! You will make great family memories.
I love me some dollywood!! This is one of the best theme parks, the rides are great and there are so many different things to do here. The prices are good and the food is good and I really don't have a single complaint about the park. Everytime we have been we have enjoyed every minute of it. Take the kids and have yourself a great time!!!
Dollywood offers something for all members of the family. For bigger kids and adults, they have added some great rides. There is a entire section of the park dedicated for smaller children, too. Dollywood isn't just an amusement park, though. This park is all about giving the customer a county experience through food and entertainment.
This is a place we could go every year if possible. It has thrills for every age group. Small kiddie rides for the little ones, roller coasters for the bigger ones, fantastic shows, clean facilities, wonderful shows. All have one central theme: Good, clean, family fun in a wonderful atmosphere! Definitely love it!
This is also a stroller-friendly place!
Dollywood is packed with family fun for both adults and children. There is a huge childrens area full of size appropriate rides and games as well as a discovery center with hands on play and learning. There are also many shows to see in the park- animal performances, dancing, cartoon characters, and movies. There is a stroller rental area as well as a buggy car for two kids that has an umbrella shade attached this made travelling through the park very easy.
Dollywood has something for all ages! It's not so big that you can't do everything in one day but it is growing. Adventure Mountain, which was added this year, is awesome. Plus you can get free cups of ice water from any of the drink stations. Who does not like FREE? Lines are not too long and the atmosphere is very nice. Food is better than your average amusement parks also.
