Disney's Wide World of Sports was my least favorite Disney-affiliated hotel that I've ever stayed at. The whole place was just chaotic and the concierge desk really had no idea what they were doing. To top it off, the rooms were very outdated and mine was very sloppy as well. This looks like a hotel for cheap school field trips at best!
We stayed here many years ago with the family and it was a nice hotel with many amenities. However, the rooms were rather small and simple. But I guess when you stay at Disney you don't want to be spending a lot of time in your hotel room. I love the pools and arcade.
Two hundred acres devoted to sports, it hosts the Atlanta Braves in spring training season (March through early April), Harlem Globetrotters training, and world-class tennis, soccer, karate, and other tournaments. The Sports Experience, formerly an attraction at Super Bowl host cities, has its permanent home here, allowing wannabe football players a chance to test their skills. Tiny future quarterbacks can play in the Kid’sZone with authentic NFL equipment.
